Day 1 - Sunday, July 15

Welcome to the Rhône-Alpes region

Megeve > Col des Saisies > Montee de Bisanne > Megeve  

HC Bike Tours’ owner and the rest of the team will meet you at the airport in the morning. From there you will be provided with transportation to the hotel. A bit later, our team will help you to set up your bicycle.  

An enjoyable picnic lunch will be served after which we will take off for a warm-up ride. We will start with two popular climbs Col des Saises and Montee de Bisanne where the last one the tour is going to ride this year on Stage 11th. In the evening, you will start to explore local cuisine

The best of the Rhône-Alpes….

Off for more famous climbs. We will ride Col des Aravis both sides and two of Stage 10 climbs Col de la Croix-Fry and Col des Glieres. The Glieres is famous for its gavel section.

Day 3 - Tuesday, July 17

TdF Stage 10 LIVE…

Megeve> Col de Romme > Col de la Colombiere > TDF LIVE finish in Le Grand-Bornand > Col des Aravis > Megeve 

We will ride the last two climbs of today`s TdF Stage just few hours before the peloton. We will stop in the village of Le Grand-Bornand to witness the Stage 10 finish. Later on, we are off to ride Col des Aravis on our way to the hotel.

Legendary climbs…

Col de la Madeleine > Montvernier > Col de la Croix de Fer  

We’ll begin the day with a short transfer to the start of the Madeliene climb. Next one is the incredible climb up the Lacets de Montvernier switchbacks - a huge success in the 2015 Tour de France followed by the famous Croix de Fer climb both included in Stage 12 of this year`s Tour. We will finish today`s ride with a short transfer to the hotel.

Day 5 - Thursday, July 19

LIVE viewing of the Tour de France at the top of the Alpe d’Huez!

Les 2 Alpes > TdF LIVE at Alpe d'Huez > Col de Sarenne > Les 2 Alpes 

The Alpe d’Huez is back again! Somehow this climb is well known worldwide and is becoming as one of the most famous climbs of the Tour. Today you will be lucky enough to climb it just a few hours before the peloton hits it. Be aware that it will be packed with thousands of fans as always. That will be one of the greatest experiences to feel the real cycling atmosphere. After the Tour, we will follow 100th edition Tour de France route visiting Col de Sarenne and climb back to Les Deux Alpes. We assure you of excitement, satisfaction from your accomplishment, and fantastic memories to take home.

Definitely, the Galibier is one of the most spectacular and majestic climbs in Europe also, at 2,645 m (8,678 ft), it is the highest point of our trip. The other climb Lautaret is one of the most often visited climb by the Tour. Go and get those

Infamous Mont Ventoux…

Mont Ventoux 

Yes, this is a day when you are going to climb the mythical Mont VentouxWe will start the day with a longer transportation to our hotel where you will be able to get ready for the ride. Bit later, we are off on the way up to this legendary climb. We will ride the Mont Ventoux from its most famous side and go down on the other side. If you wish, you will be able to ride it twice. Well done! It`s time for farewell dinner. 

Our hotel is located in Vaison-la-Romain in Provence. The village is famous for its rich Roman ruins, medieval town and cathedral.
