Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are in appropriate physical condition and capable of safely operating a bicycle.
HC Bike Tours reserves the right to refuse participation or terminate a tour or rental if a participant behaves in a way that may endanger themselves, other participants, staff members, or third parties.
Participants in cycling tours or bike rentals may be required to review and sign a separate Waiver & Release of Liability prior to participating in activities.
HC Bike Tours may provide transportation services including shuttle transfers or SAG (Support and Gear) vehicle services during tours or cycling activities.
Participants using transportation services agree to follow safety instructions provided by HC Bike Tours staff or drivers at all times.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during transportation services.
HC Bike Tours is not responsible for delays caused by traffic conditions, weather conditions, road closures, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Transportation services are provided in accordance with applicable road safety and transportation regulations. In the event of a traffic accident or incident involving a vehicle operated by HC Bike Tours, liability shall be determined in accordance with applicable law and the relevant insurance coverage.
HC Bike Tours will take reasonable care when transporting bicycles, luggage, or other equipment; however, participants remain responsible for ensuring their items are properly packed and secured.
Bike rentals must be reserved in advance. Full payment for the rental must be completed before the start of the rental period unless otherwise agreed.
A rental reservation is confirmed only after payment has been received.
At the time of delivery or pickup, the bicycle will be inspected together with the customer.
Any existing scratches, damages, or mechanical issues will be recorded in the Bike Inspection Report.
All bicycles and rental equipment remain the property of HC Bike Tours at all times.
The rented bicycle may only be used by the person listed in the rental agreement.
During the rental period, the renter is responsible for the bicycle and any rental equipment provided by HC Bike Tours.
If the bicycle is stolen, lost, or damaged beyond repair, the renter may be charged the replacement value of the bicycle.
Certain bicycles provided by HC Bike Tours may have a replacement value of up to approximately €13,000 depending on the model and specifications.
HC Bike Tours may offer optional bike insurance to cover repairable damage to the rented bicycle during the rental period.
The insurance does not cover theft, loss of the bicycle, or damage resulting in the total destruction of the frame.
If a mechanical issue occurs during the rental period that is not caused by misuse or negligence, HC Bike Tours will make reasonable efforts to repair or replace the equipment.
Rental cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@hcbiketours.com.
No refunds or credits are possible once the rental period has started.
Orders for cycling apparel and related products may be placed through the webshop available on this website.
After placing an order, customers will receive an order confirmation email summarizing the purchased items and order details. This confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of the order but confirms that the order request has been received.
HC Bike Tours reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of product unavailability, pricing errors, or other unforeseen circumstances.
All prices listed in the webshop are displayed in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated.
