About the Croatia bike tour

Croatia bike tour is Custom built for a Private group from California, USA. After a great trip through the Northern Spain’s regions of Cantabria and Asturias in 2019, they are coming back to explore other parts of Europe. This year we are taking them on Two consecutive bike journeys: medium level Explore Croatia bike tour as a warm up and four days later challenging cycling trough the Alps in Austria and Slovenia.

The group is welcoming guests to join them on their adventures for one or both trips, currently 4 spots available!

Located at the top of the Balkans, and with a coastline that borders the Adriatic Sea, Croatia has been influenced by mix of Western and Eastern cultures, including Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, Venetian and Austro-Hungarian. It has left a lot of well preserved historic villages and towns mostly on the coastline, also very rich Croatian cuisine with foods called peka, boškarin, crni rižot, fritule you are going to taste.

Cycling in Croatia slowly is getting popular. And why not? It has a perfect climate, good roads, mountains, national parks, the Adriatic see with the stunning coastal views, and with so many historic villages to stay overnight, it`s definitely worth to explore Croatia by bike. The bike trip we have designed is relatively easy to ride with no big climbs and distances between 50-100 km (35-70 miles). Over the 8-day trip you will explore the inland of Croatia riding around the capital city Zagreb, then stopping to visit the Plitvice lakes, before we head out to the coast. And cycling along the Adriatic coast is simply beautiful – the reason many millions of tourists come to Croatia. The last 5 days you will be enjoying cycling along the coast by stopping at many historic villages and towns like the worldwide famous Zadar and Split.

Join the tour while we have few spots left!
