Fly to the Lisbon airport, Portugal where HC team will be meeting you to drive you to the hotel. HC team will be able to meet you also a day or two before the trip starts.

If possible, we will be riding shorter warm up rides on the first day and perhaps a day before.

Lisbon > Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais > Sintra > Lisbon

The park is a must visit with absolutely gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean and many castles around the town of Sintra.

On the rolling backroads to the pearl or the Alentejo region of Portugal, the town of Evora which is classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.

Still the Alentejo region towards to the border with Spain. You will see plenty of the cork trees, olives, and wineries farms.

DAY OFF or short ride to Marvão

Today Day off cycling or we still can keep going and do a ride, or other option is a combination hiking + a must visit medieval town Marvão. The town is in the Parque Natural da Serra de São Mamede, plenty of great options for hiking and cycling, all is good here.

We are back on the bikes, and it`s getting hillier as you will be entering in the Central region of Portugal.

Abrantes > Coimbra

The scenery is going to change completely with more hills and eucalyptus everywhere, you are heading to Coimbra the formed capital of Portugal.
Today there will be two options for the ride to choose from:
1) From the hotel-to-hotel beautiful scenery
2) With an option to visit the most important Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima and could be combined with the limestone
caves

We believe you know the port wine, and today you will head to the heart of the region from where the port wine comes. The Douro valley is famous for that. And it might be “the queen stage” of the trip today with a lot of climbing, long day, and plenty of beautiful views to enjoy. Although shorter options will be available too.
