This is a Private & Custom 11-day / 10-night guided and SAG van supported French Alps & Mt. Ventoux cycling tour planned and supported by HC Bike Tours.
We have created a custom itinerary for this trip with all the best routes and sightseeing based on our local knowledge. All the riders have to do is arrive at Lyon airport and the trip can begin – we will take care of the rest.
HC Bike Tours team will take care of airport transfers, luggage transportation, and delivery of rental bikes.
As this is a private tour guests can ride as much or as little as they wish, and even change the itinerary – HC Bike Tours will be there to support them throughout the trip.

Fly to the Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS) where HC team will be meeting you to drive you to the hotel in Albertville ~1 hour 30 min drive. We will organize a warmup ride in the afternoon if possible, and the pre-tour meeting in the evening.

HC team will organize a transfer to visit Annecy town in the morning. Those who are on the bikes, you will ride back to the hotel via Semnoz climb, or there might be also an alternative easier ride for second group. Non-cyclists will be able to stay in Annecy longer and will be transported back later in the afternoon.

There are two big the Tour de France (TdF) climbs planned for the day with a finish and stay overnight in the famous village Alpe d’Huez. Non-cyclists will travel in the van.

The Alpe d’Huez is the most popular Tour de France climb, we’re riding the classic side on the day. Non-cyclists can travel in the van or explore the village.

Rest day or HC team will be glad to take you for a beautiful hiking in the mountains or, for those who are interested, we can take you also on a bike ride.

On the way to Briançon today via one of the most scenic climbs of the French Apls – Col du Galibier. Non-cyclists will travel in the van.

Bye, bye France… Transfer to the Marseille airport in the morning, it is ~1 hour 20 min drive, and we are looking forward to seeing you again on a tour next year.
