Eszter has over ten years of experience in tourism, driven by her passion, dedication, and commitment to creating unforgettable experiences. Originally from Budapest, Hungary, Eszter’s first steps into the industry of tourism took her to Los Angeles, where she spent her internship at the age of 20 in the prestigious hotel JW Marriott Santa Monica in 2008. This opportunity allowed her to immerse herself in one of the city’s most iconic hotels, expanding her knowledge of hospitality and sharpening her skills in serving high-end clientele.
Her next chapter took her to the 5-star Corinthia Hotel in Budapest, where she further honed her expertise before receiving an exciting job offer in Mallorca. There, Eszter’s talents were quickly recognized, and after just a few months, she was promoted to Activity Manager, leading a team of 12 at Zafiro & Viva Hotels—part of a renowned hotel chain famous for sponsoring major sports events, including triathlons. When the hotel chain decided to open its first 5-star hotel, they trusted Eszter to lead the team and oversee the entire setup from scratch, a significant achievement that showcased her leadership and organizational skills. During these times Eszter also led excursions across Mallorca, giving her an in-depth knowledge of the island from top to bottom, a foundation that proved invaluable when she later worked as a concierge.
She then moved to London as she received a job offer from the world most luxurious hotel chain; Four Seasons UK Collection in London, where she worked as a Reservations and Sales Agent, managing bookings for high-end rooms ranging from £1,000 to £10,000 per night. This role helped her refine her attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and customer service expertise.
However, when the pandemic hit, Eszter felt the pull to explore something different—an opportunity to blend her creativity and customer service skills in a more flexible, dynamic role. In 2020, amidst the global upheaval, she made the bold decision to transition into web design and development, eager to bring her communication and problem-solving skills to the digital world. Check out her webpage: webesti.com Transitioning into life as a digital nomad, she took the opportunity to travel and spent months in Southeast Asia, Australia, and India before finally settling back in Spain.
After meeting Helena at an event for female entrepreneurs, they discovered their shared love for cycling. Eszter’s passion for tourism never wavered, so she decided to join our team, helping manage the back office, handle hotel and dining reservations, and ensure everything runs smoothly for both the team and guests. Sometimes she is joining to our tours as well to provide support where it is needed. Eszter is also spearheading the development of our website, which is set for an exciting overhaul in the spring of 2025.
Her unique combination of hospitality experience, digital expertise, and global travel knowledge has made her an invaluable part of the HC Bike Tours team, helping shape the future of our company and ensuring our guests enjoy seamless, unforgettable experiences from start to finish. 😉
